Machine Overview

The new IT HES 2 series represents the evolution of our flagship product, the IT HES series, which over the years has enabled us to establish ourselves as a solid Italian manufacturer of reliable, high-performance injection moulding machines. This model features electric clamping as standard, reducing cycle times and allowing movements to overlap even without the use of a dual pump. The optional “Electric plasticising” system is also available, enabling further optimisation of cycle times.

Reliability

Thanks to a 21-inch industrial PC designed in Italy, programmed in a Linux environment and featuring a full-touch, multifunctional and extremely user-friendly interface, the Ripress control platform is suitable for every requirement. The electrical system, entirely wired via EtherCAT, also allows simple and immediate diagnostics in the event of faults.

Consumption

Thanks to the innovative H.E.S. system (servomotor, inverter and gear pump) and the oil being kept at low temperatures, energy consumption is reduced by up to 75% compared with conventional systems.

Cleanliness

The moving platen slides on linear guides and recirculating ball bearing blocks, reducing friction and ensuring greater energy savings and cleanliness.

Precision and energy savings

The ultra-high-precision digital magnetostrictive transducers, wired via EtherCAT, enable optimal movement control and ensure maximum reliability through frictionless operation with no sliding surfaces. Encoders on all axes and the complete overlapping of movements ensure high precision standards even in the most complex moulding processes, while the electric motors provide maximum energy efficiency.
